Thank you for looking at a position in our company. We are not corporate, we are not glitzy, we are Aardvark, a family run business that’s been around for over twenty years. Based in Warrington, we cover our Northwest B2B customers using our own vans and the rest of the UK with the e-commerce operation. Our business is supplying cleaning products: from the humble toilet roll to paper towels, cleaning chemicals, textiles and machinery - we have it all in one place, along with expanding our range into packaging and office supplies. Our brands are market leaders and respected within the industry along with our own labels.
As part of the e-commerce team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the on-line sales and conversion opportunities are always maximised. You will be able to use your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce and insight to ensure the online customer journey is as optimised and flawless as possible.
This is a key role within Aardvark and a great opportunity to grow and develop within a small team and in a multi-disciplined role, ranging across website management, digital marketing, customer experience and operations:-
· Responsible for loading all e-commerce imagery and product information to sites
· Help optimise website on search engines
· Help build and promote on social media such as Facebook/Instagram
· Be able to product cost
· Help to answer customers queries and resolve any issues
· Work closely with the MD and buyer to develop new ranges and products
· Have experience in Amazon and E-Bay platforms and channelling them through Linnworks along with web experience in using Shopify
· Help forecast trends/sales
This is an office-based position as we feel it’s hugely important to be and feel part of the company, not sat isolated in the spare room. With working from the office, you get to pick up information there and then, rather than waiting for some scrappy Zoom meeting and then forgetting the question you needed an answer for. There’s also home baking and biscuits to be had. We’ll even provide you with a uniform, so you can dress smart, work smart and not have to worry about what you’re going to put on in the morning!
Although we’re small, we take diversity and inclusivity very seriously and strive to create a space where we can all bring our authentic selves to work every day. So don’t be scared - be brave and apply today!
