Description Meyer Distributing is looking for an Ecommerce Analyst to join our team. The Ecommerce Analyst supports pricing and profitability decision-making across ecommerce sales channels by analyzing financial and operational drivers that impact contribution margin. The role translates complex data—including COGs, pricing, freight, marketplace fees, returns, and promotional activity—into clear insights and recommendations that help optimize price positioning, protect margin, and improve overall channel performance. Through ongoing monitoring and reporting, the analyst identifies risks, quantifies opportunities, and supports execution of pricing and cost-alignment initiatives. Schedule: (In office) Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Duties for Ecommerce Analyst: Analyze ecommerce profitability across SKUs, brands, and channels with a focus on contribution margin and key cost drivers Evaluate and monitor inputs impacting margin including COGs, sell price, freight (parcel/LTL/accessorial), marketplace fees, and returns Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support daily pricing decisions and margin optimization Analyze pricing performance across product lines to identify optimal price points balancing competitiveness and profitability Identify margin erosion trends and proactively highlight risks tied to costs, pricing changes, or operational factors Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting on profitability KPIs including margin, freight %, return %, and fee impact Assist with scenario modeling tied to pricing changes, cost fluctuations, and marketplace fee updates All other duties as assigned.
