Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role would suit an eCommerce professional who has strong knowledge of digital trading keen to enter the new, exciting and dynamic world of TikTok shop.
The focus of the eCommerce and Digital Trading Manager will be on trading on the TikTok shops and global eCommerce store. This role will enable the business to drive performance and gather insights across both channels while trading is continuously optimised, and commercial opportunities are capitalised upon through proactive, data-driven decision-making.
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, this is a pivotal role in driving our eCommerce & digital strategy—boosting D2C sales through improved digital trading, marketing and customer experience. This is an brand-new role for the business and will be instrumental in delivering new processes, revenue growth and business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE…

Strategy

  • Define and bring to life The Beauty Crop trading strategy, challenging marketing teams and presenting the vision at senior level
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across Brand, eCommerce and Marketing and align strategy with overall business needs and direction

Trading

  • Responsible for owning, driving and delivering monthly digital sales targets
  • Perform regular reporting to put recommendations in place to increase business
  • Create, own, and implement trading strategies in the short, medium, and long term that align with brand, international commercial goals and support broader marketing activities, putting D2C trading at the heart of the organisation.
  • Plan and execute the seasonal trade calendar, ensuring campaigns, product, and category launches are executed on time across all our international territories for web and TikTok.
  • Develop and communicate platform specific commercial and promotional plans in line with merchandising and product strategy, including TikTok Lives.
  • Oversee the execution of the online merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment between brand marketing, digital marketing, and planning.
  • Understand seasonal trends, customer appetites and leverage opportunities at a category, range and product level.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to understand the customer in order to identify trading opportunities across differing audiences, channels and platforms.
  • Stay on top of TikTok trends and rising talent in the TikTok ecosystem

E-commerce Performance Management

  • Monitor performance KPIs across D2C and take action to improve performance.
  • Ensure best-in-class merchandising, optimisations and content across all product listings, categories, and promotional landing pages.
  • Support Head of eCommerce to deliver revenue and customer growth targets across all eCommerce platforms.
  • Act as commercial champion for the eCommerce team, focusing in on performance at both category and product level to hit the sales plan, working with both planning and marketing teams
  • Use business and analytics to monitor performance and KPIs and make customer-driven decisions and priorities.
  • Monitor eCommerce trends and competitor experiences, identifying opportunities for the business
  • Partner with Brand Marketing Manager to ensure content meets commercial requirements and best practices
