Description JOB SUMMARY The Ecommerce Associate is an entry level role that is key to the day-to-day production of Goodwill SF Bay’s e-commerce operations. The primary responsibilities of this role include sorting donated products, material handling and use of warehouse equipment. This role reports to an Ecommerce Supervisor and works under one of the following lines of business: fashion, jewelry, recompute, books & media, fulfillment, collectibles or customer support. RESPONSIBILITIES Sort and evaluate products for channel priority Uses Quality Control procedures to ensure that every item is received correctly Inspect and determine the condition of items based on customer satisfaction guidelines Move totes, coops, and/or gaylords for processing and distribution Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure it is clear of any product by the end of the day Report any safety hazards and any loss prevention concerns to supervisor Prepare outbound shipments to other lines of business Participate in all required training activities to acquire skills on the job Meet daily production goals Attend and participate in daily huddles Perform other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred Ability to conduct work on computers Able to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a positive attitude Work cooperatively with diverse groups of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds Ability to utilize self-learning systems Possess a professional demeanor, poise under pressure with strong attention to detail, and well-developed time management skills Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted Ability to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period Ability to work weekends, nights and/or holidays What We Offer: $17.70 hourly Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Retirement Fund Professional Development Training Commuter Benefits Flexible Healthcare Spending Account Mental Health + Wellbeing Employee Assistance Program Job Details: Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Varies Primary Work Location: South San Francisco Warehouse Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
