Description:

As an E-commerce Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for creating, curating, and optimizing content across various digital platforms to drive engagement, improve conversion rates, and ultimately increase sales. Your expertise in content creation, SEO optimization, and understanding of consumer behavior will be essential in delivering compelling and impactful content that resonates with our target audience.
This is a hybrid role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in e-commerce content creation, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
  3. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in SEO tools and techniques, with a solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  5. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Creativity and innovation in developing compelling content strategies and campaigns.
  8. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Passion for e-commerce, digital marketing, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for product descriptions, category pages, landing pages, blog posts, and other digital channels.
  2. SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines, improving visibility and driving organic traffic.
  3. New Product Set-Up: Work through customer setup sheets and portals to set up new items
  4. Product Presentation: Ensure that product listings are accurately and attractively presented with compelling copy, images, and multimedia elements to maximize conversion rates.
  5. Content Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with business objectives, brand guidelines, and customer needs.
  6. Catalog Management: Regularly update and maintain product information, pricing, and inventory levels to ensure accuracy and consistency across all digital platforms.
  7. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  8. Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and enhance the e-commerce content strategy.
  9. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as marketing, merchandising, design, and IT to coordinate content initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  10. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all content adheres to regulatory requirements, brand standards, and best practices for accuracy, consistency, and legality.
