JOB SUMMARY The Ecommerce Developer (Front End) is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving the front-end experience across World Emblem’s ecommerce sites. This role focuses on performance, usability, experimentation, and stability while supporting revenue growth initiatives.  This is a hands-on role working closely with CRO, marketing, and backend teams to deliver fast, reliable, and test-driven experiences.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Front End Development  * Build and maintain front end features for BigCommerce powered ecommerce sites * Develop responsive, accessible, and high-Performance User interfaces * Ensure cross browser and cross device compatibility Optimizely & Experimentation  * Implement and maintain Optimizely experiments including A B tests and feature flags * Translate CRO test plans into clean, reliable front-end implementations * Troubleshoot experiment conflicts and ensure test accuracy. Performance & Stability  * Improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and front-end performance * Identify and resolve front end Bugs, Rendering issues, and UX breaks * Support ongoing site stability and uptime. Collaboration & Execution  * Partner with CRO, marketing, and design teams on UI and UX initiatives * Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content * Support launches, releases, and time sensitive site updates Code Quality & Standards  * Maintain clean, readable, and maintainablefront endcode * Follow best practices for version control, documentation, and QA * Participate in code reviews and release planning QUALIFICATIONS * 3 plus years offront enddevelopment experience for ecommerce sites * Hands on experience with BigCommerce front end development * Hands on experience implementing Optimizely experiments * Strongproficiencyin HTML, CSS, JavaScript * Experience working with templating systems and APIs * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE * HTML, CSS, JavaScript * Responsive and mobile-first development * UI/UX and accessibility best practices * Technical SEO fundamentals * A/B testing implementation (Convert) * CMS-driven development (Optimizely) * API integrations and third-party service integrations * Performance optimization and site speed improvements * Version control (Git or similar) * Proficiency with MS Office, Internet, and Email applications LANGUAGE ABILITY Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
