Description
Manages and operates e-commerce operations to provide exceptional customer service through the efficient management of e-commerce staff, donations, processing, stock rotation and sales. Properly maintains ecommerce department on various selling platforms. Qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Complies with all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout all work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards. • Analyzes online marketplaces and pricing strategies to ensure maximized profitability and sales with the lowest possible costs. • Leads E-commerce staff; see Supervisory Responsibilities below. • Ensures compliance with established safety, security, sales, money handling, and record keeping procedures and practices as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures. Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the Manager, Retail Operations, Loss Prevention and the Vice President of Donated Goods. • Maintains the department budget to include sales, payroll and expense to revenue. • Collaborates with the Marketing Department to create brand awareness and expanded customer reach via display advertising, social media, mobile marketing and promotional activities. • Executes routine social media selling events. Verifies that the quality and quantity of merchandise is adequate to obtain sales and production quotas. • Coordinates training of E-commerce staff and store staff to effectively identify collectable and/ or valuable merchandise. • Monitors shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to maintain satisfactory thresholds with various marketplaces. • Monitors and resolves customer service issues including but not limited to returns and disputes. • Ensures merchandise is priced in accordance with established standards. • Occasional travel is required for business related activities. • Must be able to respond to emergencies at any time as needed. • Reviews sellers’ information on shopgoodwill.com and all other marketplaces to ensure that it is compliant with requirements related to posting of items, description etiquette, and other criteria. • Implements and updates all standard operating procedures applicable to the E-commerce Department. • Attend meetings as required. • Performs other job-related tasks as assigned
