JOB SUMMARY:

The Ecommerce Operations Specialist will play a key role in optimizing daily operations for our ecommerce platform. This includes managing order processing, facilitating Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, and ensuring that our ecommerce systems are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in EDI, order processing workflows, and troubleshooting to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in ecommerce operations, order management, or customer support.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI platforms and partner portals (experience with major retailers or distributors preferred).
  • Experience with shipping systems and logistics coordination.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (experience with [insert specific ERP/WMS if relevant] is a plus).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day ecommerce operations with a strong focus on:

  • Customer Service – Provide prompt, professional support to customers and partners via email, phone, and online portals. Resolve inquiries related to orders, pricing, shipping, and product information.
  • EDI Management – Process and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, ensuring accurate order flow and compliance with partner requirements.
  • Partner Portal Management – Navigate and manage multiple retail and distributor portals for order entry, updates, tracking, and compliance.
  • Order Processing – Accurately process and monitor ecommerce orders from receipt to fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and minimal errors.
  • Shipping Coordination – Work with carriers and internal teams to manage shipping logistics, generate labels, schedule pickups, and resolve shipping exceptions or delays.
  • Pricing Management – Maintain up-to-date product pricing across systems and portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with partner and internal guidelines.
