We’re looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented eCommerce Strategist to join our Strategy team. This is an individual contributor role focused on uncovering insights through data, supporting cross-functional teams, and helping our clients better understand how to grow and optimize their businesses in the Shopify ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in e-commerce analytics and digital strategy who is excited to learn and grow alongside senior strategists and collaborators across UX, Design, and Tech.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or digital strategy.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Shopify data reporting.
  • Experience analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, with an understanding of how to distill insights into clear takeaways.
  • Ability to communicate strategic thinking in a compelling and structured way, using tools such as Google Slides or PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with strategists, designers, and developers.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deliverables at once.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping, conversion funnels, or ecommerce best practices.
  • A self-starter who is eager to grow their strategic skillset and contribute to client outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Execute pre-defined strategic deliverables across client accounts, including qualitative and quantitative research and analysis.
  • Analyze web performance and behavioral data using tools such as GA4 and Shopify to uncover actionable insights.
  • Support the creation of strategic recommendations within pre-built deck templates, clearly communicating data and takeaways to clients.
  • Identify and surface performance trends and areas for opportunity in client reporting and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior strategists and other team leads to support broader strategic planning efforts.
  • Participate in customer research initiatives such as surveys, interviews, user testing, and persona development to inform recommendations.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization exercises by providing data-backed inputs.
  • Support ad hoc strategy initiatives such as competitive audits, CRO analyses, and site experience evaluations.
  • Occasionally contribute to light UX activities such as wireframing or Figma-based feedback and ideation.
