ECOMMERCE TRADING ASSISTANT

As an Ecommerce Trading Assistant at Primark, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and delivery of our Click and Collect Trading strategy at a very important time. You will provide administrative support to the Ecommerce Trading team, by running daily and weekly reports to support trading decisions. You will be responsible for maintaining the teams working documents, completing stock movements, and the completion of ad hoc trading tasks.
As part of the expanding Digital function, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, tenacious, and innovative environment. You will be part of a dynamic, trading team and you will be supported to develop your commercial judgement and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do as an Ecommerce Trading Assistant

  • Prepare Monday trade reports to support with the Trading of Click and Collect
  • Update key planning and trading documents such as Daily Sales, Delivery Schedule and Campaign Tracker
  • Under guidance of the Trading Analyst, action stock movements in and out of the depot, working with the logistics teams to ensure a smooth transition from start to end
  • Build and maintain fantastic relationships with colleagues in adjacent functions, such as Digital Merchandising and Product Content, ensuring products launch on site in a timely manner and flagging potential delay

  • Educated to a Degree level or equivalent, ideally in Business, Merchandising or Fashion Retail, or at least 1 years’ experience in a similar rol
