The ideal candidate will bring strong subject expertise, a student-centered approach to teaching, and the ability to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications. This role is suited for educators who are committed to academic excellence and fostering analytical thinking in learners. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Economics and Business Studies aligned with the Cambridge A–AS Level curriculum. Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles. Build a strong conceptual foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics, business strategy, marketing, finance, and operations. Encourage critical thinking, data interpretation, and case-based analysis among students. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Track and report student progress, identifying areas for academic intervention and support. Integrate real-world examples, current economic trends, and business case studies into classroom discussions. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and intellectual curiosity. Prepare students for Cambridge examinations through structured revision plans and exam-oriented guidance. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best teaching practices. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong expertise as an Economics Teacher, with deep understanding of economic theories, models, and global economic systems. Proven capability as a Business Studies Teacher, including knowledge of business management principles, entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in designing assessments aligned with Cambridge standards. Ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods, discussions, and case studies. Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and classroom technologies. Strong classroom management and student engagement skills. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business Studies, Commerce, or a related field. Teaching certification or relevant educational qualification is preferred. Experience teaching Cambridge A–AS Level or equivalent international curriculum is highly desirable. Experience Range: 3 to 20 years of teaching experience in Economics and/or Business Studies, preferably in an international or Cambridge curriculum setting.
