We are seeking an Economics Teacher for an international school based in Kunshan, Jiangsu province. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026. About the School This school was founded in 2012, initially offering the world-class Ontario (Canada) curriculum. Over the years, it has established strong roots in Kunshan and evolved into a fully authorized IB Continuum School, providing the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes for students aged 3 to 18. Job details Teach the subject of economics to secondary education school students utilizing the IB DP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school Bachelor degree or above in related subject At least 2 years of subject teaching experience Primarily teaching IBDP Business and Economics Familiarity with the IB curriculum is not essential, but relevant teaching experience is a must Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 25,000 to 32,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing subsidy of up to 5,000 RMB Free education for dependent children Medical health insurance Summer and winter holidays Chinese public holidays Residence and work permit sponsored On-going teacher training and support Work and residence permit sponsorship
