Are you an experienced economist with a passion for strategic decision-making? Do you love using data and analysis to make a real difference? We’re looking for a motivated leader to head up a small team of specialists, shaping how we apply economics to big investment decisions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead a team of talented analysts, applying economic thinking to key investment decisions.
• Deliver cost-benefit analyses, investment appraisals, and strategic economic reviews.
• Guide long-term financial planning, pricing strategies, and efficiency projects.
• Develop innovative tools and approaches to compare future investment options.
• Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and consultants, sharing your insights to support smarter choices.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex ideas clearly
• A solid background in applied economics or strategic economic analysis
• Postgraduate qualification in economics (Master’s or PhD preferred)
• Experience with data tools like Excel, R, or Power BI – coding a bonus!
• A collaborative, forward-thinking mindset
