DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our Kindergarten program, working alongside another experienced teacher in our 3–5 year old room. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality educational program for up to 20 children, while supporting the emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading curriculum planning and implementation in line with the EYLF, VEYLDF and NQS
  • Building respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborating closely with another Kindergarten Teacher and Educator
  • Supporting inclusive practices, including children with additional needs
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and child safety standards

    About You We are seeking a passionate, experienced and reflective educator who:

  • Holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

  • Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with children in a Kindergarten setting
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, NQS, NQF, and Child Safe Standards
  • Is confident in curriculum development, observation, and documentation
  • Has experience working with children with additional needs
  • Works collaboratively in a team and values open, professional communication
  • Is punctual, reliable, and committed to ongoing learning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • VIT registration (full only)
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection training
  • Food Handling Certificate (preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, NQF, and Child Safe Standards
