Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The clerk in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering professional and caring customer-focussed service, often as the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors. They ensure that all patient information for clinical and billing purposes is accurately captured for the 65,000+ patients who present annually, and is entered into the information systems in a timely manner. The clerk works both front-of-house and back of department, rotating through a variety of roles which support our multi-disciplinary teams.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Excellent computer skills - experience in iPM, EMR an advantage
