Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced leader to head our Global Markets Client Onboarding function within the Client & Sales Solutions Group. This Executive Director role is pivotal in shaping and delivering seamless onboarding, driving operational excellence, and enhancing client journeys across our global markets.
You’ll lead transformation strategies to streamline onboarding processes, accelerate client access to market products, and foster strong partnerships across business functions and regions. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-impact function at the intersection of clients, products, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the global transformation strategy for client onboarding, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and client experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process across regions, ensuring timely, compliant, and seamless delivery.
  • Partner with sales, relationship managers, legal, compliance, risk, and operations to align onboarding with client and business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their onboarding journey is smooth and supportive.
  • Drive digitalisation, automation, and process redesign to reduce timelines and enhance outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse global team, building a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Establish and enforce robust risk and governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to local and international regulatory standards (AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS).

Skills and Qualifications

SKILLS

  • Deep understanding of Markets products and client solutions.
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills.
  • Expertise in regulatory frameworks and onboarding compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives, including digitalisation and automation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant experience in client onboarding within financial markets or related areas.
  • Strong track record in leading global teams and driving operational transformation.
  • In-depth knowledge of client onboarding requirements, processes, and regulatory obligations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced qualifications a plus.
