Responsibilities

Join Us as an EDEPI PGR Officer and be a champion of Inclusive Admissions in Doctoral Education
Are you passionate about equity in higher education? We are seeking an EDEPI PGR Officer to lead the implementation of inclusive, competency-based admissions practices across a pioneering partnership with Liverpool John Moores University and Sheffield Hallam University.
In this impactful role, you will drive systemic change by helping to embed the EDEPI Competency-Based Admissions Framework, collaborating with academic and professional teams across the sector, and supporting underrepresented postgraduate research (PGR) applicants. You will also play a key role in delivering a high-quality, student-focused doctoral administration service at NTU.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A strong understanding of university admissions and EDI principles.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and data-handling skills.
  • Experience in Higher Education administration and a commitment to inclusive practice.

This is a fixed-term, full-time role until 27 February 2026, with occasional travel and out-of-hours work.
Be part of a sector-leading initiative shaping the future of doctoral admissions. Apply now and help make postgraduate research more accessible for all.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We’ll still consider applications even if you don’t meet every single one of the requirements, so don’t be put off if you don’t match them perfectly.
