REQUIREMENTS
- Technical training in cinema-based technologies is preferred. We also welcome applicants with experience in electronics, audiovisual technology, or a related field with a strong interest in cinema technology and a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with customers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including an on call roster for weekends and public holidays as needed, demonstrating your commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers and building a career in cinema technology.
- Willing to undertake travel in the performance of duties
- Valid driver’s license allowing you to travel to different locations and work with different customers.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cinema Service Technician, you’ll work with the latest advancements in cinema technology alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering an exceptional cinema experience. You will install, service, and maintain digital cinema projection and sound equipment, leveraging your expertise to tackle sophisticated challenges to optimise system performance. With your in-depth knowledge, you’ll also cultivate strong relationships with our customers, providing expert guidance and ensuring that each cinema operates flawlessly, meeting the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, service, and maintain digital cinema projection and sound equipment, working with the latest technology and continuously enhancing your technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues, while collaborating with experienced technicians to refine your skills and knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert support to customers by leveraging your problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions to complex problems, while strengthening your confidence in working with advanced technology.
- Engage with customers to deliver exceptional service, fostering strong relationships and refining your professional communication skills to ensure client satisfaction and trust.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of service visits and equipment maintenance, enabling us to monitor performance, track progress and identify areas for continuous improvement.
