Description

The Edge OpenShift Engineer would need to have at least 3 years of experience on OpenShift cluster build, especially OSV platform, administration and well versed with Infra automation, Observability tools. In this role, you will primarily focus on building OpenShift Virtualisation(OSV) clusters, administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform at Ford’s Edge locations (on premise). This includes building out the Clusters, managing container tenant provisioning, isolation, and capacity. You will work directly with infrastructure as code-based automation to build and manage the capacity of the overall platform and deliver new capacity and capabilities as necessary. Having a strong background in OpenShift container platform, OSV, Virtualization, networking, and security will be required in successfully fulfilling this role; Additionally, understanding application development lifecycles as well practical experience in working with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools as part of the container lifecycle will be useful.
