The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a passionate, innovative and outcome-driven Edge Senior Specialist Solution Architect to join our Global team. Ideally, you will have a solutions-driven mindset being recognised as a Red Hat technology expert in the EDGE computing market. You will contribute to our end to end Open Hybrid Cloud vision and drive the transformation of the industrial controls market with new exciting Red Hat technologies. You'll be a key member of our Edge Solutions Architect team, providing leadership and support in creating successful outcomes for our customers with our solutions. This includes working in working side-by-side to our Edge Sales Specialist team and in coordination with Red Hat Product, Sales, Engineering, and Regional Business Development teams to help customers derive value with our Edge solution offerings. What you will do Have fun being part of the Red Hat Edge Global team and culture - exemplifying the Red Hat values - courage, freedom, accountability and commitment Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our portfolio and how it supports the Edge Market Support our sales force by translating the capabilities of Red Hat solutions into value propositions for the customer Edge initiatives Promote customer-centricity and ensure focus on creating great customer experiences to achieve competitive advantage Pro-active collaboration with multiple stakeholders driving innovation across the industries and helping customers and partners architect edge solutions using Red Hat technology Be able to drive industrial automation transformation for key areas of industrial ecosystem derived from experience in key areas including Software-defined controls, next-generation distributed control systems, IT/OT convergence, and OPAF (Open Process Automation Forum). Evangelize and execute on Red Hat’s vision for Industrial Automation and Industrial Edge. What you will bring Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Experienced in developing repeatable solutions Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with technical and functional business areas becoming the “trusted advisor” Extensive technical architectural background in one or more of Red Hat's portfolio technologies (or a competitor’s solutions) Demonstrable knowledge of major industry trends in enterprise software and infrastructure including but not limited to, Hybrid Cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, AI, and Edge. Architectural skills - ability to build large-scale industrial automation technology architectural designs and organize it in a milestone driven implementation plan. Hands-on experience building edge applications on Linux. Red Hat product knowledge or similar knowledge/background with the ability to quickly ramp capabilities on new technology.
