We are currently looking for an EXPERIENCED Edge Bander operator interested in building a long-term career. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good attitude, a desire to learn. Knowledge of frameless cabinets, components, fabrication, and other machinery is a definite asset.
Experience operating HOMAG edgebanders, either KAL210 Ambition 2270 or Optimat KAL210/7/A20/S2 is a huge asset.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt.
• Maintain consistent, high level of production through the machine.
• Locate parts, tag them with identifying text and numbers, and record information such as gauge readings (in metric), time tracking, and material usage.
• Assist with quality control by reporting defective products or equipment malfunctions and if necessary, assist with any repairs.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly through he workday.
• Daily safety and operational checks of machinery and weekly deep cleans.
• Operational understanding of the machine and its moving parts, including return table conveyer and clearances around the machine.
• Safely and quickly preparing the machine using different edge tapes, glues, and settings.

Work week is Monday – Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
