About Us:  Americold is global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure.  We partner with farmers and food producers to ensure their perishables and frozen products reach food suppliers, restaurants, and your local grocery store without spoilage.  Our customers, which include some of the most respected brands in the food industry, rely on our expertise and commitment to safety in order to delvier on their commitments.    Primary Responsibility: The Senior Supply Chain Systems Deployment role is a key resource in our business responsible for effective and measured deployments for our in-house supply chain systems and integration services to meet our business needs and ensure high valued solutions.    This role will have the following key responsibilities:   The delivery of developed I.T. solutions within our business operations * Engagement of necessary resources from both internal and external teams to ensure effective deployments * Program & change management to ensure successful delivery & stakeholder management   This role works with the other team members within the Supply Chain System Group, wider I.T. associates, stakeholders from all business units and support vendors to ensure effective and value add solution deployment in line with the I.T. group strategy.  This is a critical role within our organization accountable for executing the deployment of technology solutions for our supply chain applications necessary to support all the core supply chain processes.  What You’ll Do : DELIVERY * Maintain a thorough knowledge of the key business processes to provide program guidance and insights * Project coordination and execution including project planning, information analysis and scheduling * Participate in project documentation including drafting standard operating procedures, work instructions, test scripts and user acceptance test plans * Participate in project team testing, and the management of user acceptance testing * Proactively manage business communications and expectations to ensure effective delivery and an engaged and equipped workforce * Proactively identify and mitigate project risks; collaborating with I.T. partners, process owner, and customer teams to solve problems * Identify deviations between project scope and desired deliverables, initiating change requests if needed * Manage data initiatives in project lifecycle * Define and manage cutover planning processes CHANGE/TRAINING * Plan and develop project and training documentation in line with our implementation methodology * Manage the delivery of formal training plans to ensure equipped teams positioned for successful implementations * Ensuring training delivery is effective for the target audiences * Deliver user training * Ensure business change readiness for all programs COMPLIANCE * Ensure compliance with all I.T. Controls related to IS Technical Services area of responsibilities (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, Business Software Alliance, etc.). SUPPORT * Assist in defining technical requirements for on-going systems maintenance and future functionality * Provide technical support on matters related to the supply chain applications and support service desk with incident resolution when escalated TEAM/PARTERNSHIP * Interacting with business teams at all levels, providing a high level of customer service * Supports the I.T. culture of excellence, communication and customer focus in everything we do What Experience and Education You Need : * Relevant university degree (Preferred) * Advanced Degree such as MS or MBA (Preferred) * Strong knowledge of Americold supply chain systems, particularly in Power/ P2 and EDI * Tertiary qualifications in relevant area, Information Technology and Development preferred * 4-5 years’ experience in IT/Development What Could Set You Apart :  * Manufacturing/Warehouse/Distribution industry * Outcomes focus *  Strong business acumen * Excellent problem-solving skills * Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal * Excellent customer service skills * The ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines * The ability to manage people, resources and processes Physical Requirements : * The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. * Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job * Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions * Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending * Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work * Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks * May require travel by automobile and airplane * May require visiting facility operations in temperatures at or below freezing * May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds * Requires the use of various electronic tools * Occasionally works evenings or weekends in order to complete objectives or to attend meetings * Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes * Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
