JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will be responsible for onboarding new customers to the growing EDI platform. Collaborates closely and proactively with Customers, IT, Sales, and Customer Service, holding teams accountable to the implementation schedule. Gathers requirements, tests, and troubleshoots, while delivering superior customer service and expertly managing priorities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational influencing skills

Responsibilities

The primary function is to integrate existing customers into our EDI platform. The secondary functions include but are not limited to monitoring EDI traffic (the inbound and outbound flow of EDI documents), contacting vendors where there are pending functional acknowledgements (997s), testing for new EDI transactions and documents as well as being familiar with trading partner policies and procedures that may have impact on the business. This role requires working knowledge of all business systems tools and is positioned to handle special / complex / high-profile accounts.

  • Primary point of contact for Customers, EDI partners, ERP Consultants, Trading Partners, and business communications to provide optimal customer service to both external and internal stakeholders
  • Initiate and lead implementation of new EDI Customers and work closely with EDI IT Analyst for Testing purposes
  • Gather business unit/site-specific partner onboarding requirements and analyze customer requirements for all processes
  • Assist in electronic data transfer within required timeframe
  • Administer all receiving and sending of all EDI documents
  • Daily management of all EDI errors and invoice discrepancies for all customers, perform troubleshoot on all processes and repair scripts to resolve content issues and map problems
  • Support strategic accounts through day-to-day interaction and reporting
  • Serves as an escalation resource for EDI issues for staff members
  • Participate in training of new hires on the EDI platform and on-the-floor coaching
