Benefits: Employee discounts Paid time off About the Role: Edibles Production Specialist (Lead Track – 120 Day Evaluation) Pure Roots Botanicals Monroe, NC (Greater Charlotte Area) Job Summary This role is responsible for preparing and producing cannabis-infused edible products in a GMP-compliant production environment. This position begins as a hands-on production role with a structured 120-day path toward a Production Lead position based on performance, consistency, and leadership potential. Growth Opportunity This role is designed to transition into a Production Lead position. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, ownership, and consistency will have the opportunity to lead production operations as the team expands. Current Work Environment This role will begin in a temporary production space while our full commercial kitchen is under construction (estimated 4–6 months). The current environment is functional but limited in space and climate control. The role will transition into a fully equipped commercial kitchen upon completion. Key Responsibilities - Execute daily edible production including gummies and freeze-dried products - Accurately follow recipes, SOPs, and batch records - Maintain GMP, HACCP, and QA/QC standards - Operate and maintain kitchen equipment - Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization - Manage production workflow independently - Assist in improving processes and systems Required Qualifications - 1–3 years of production, kitchen, or manufacturing experience - Ability to follow structured processes and documentation - Strong attention to detail and consistency - Ability to work independently and take ownership - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications - Experience with confectionery or chocolate production - Experience in cannabis edibles production - Experience in GMP or regulated production environments Compensation & Growth Path - Starting Pay: $23–24/hr - Path to progress Additional Requirements - Must be 21 years of age or older - Must pass background check
