As a Project Manager for OpenText’s LegalTech team, you will lead client engagements from kickoff to billing, ensuring seamless execution and strategic outcomes. In this high-impact role, you will work with law firms, corporate legal departments, and review partners to bring clarity, precision, and excellence to every phase of the eDiscovery lifecycle.

The OpportunityLead strategic client engagements: act as the primary consultant for assigned matters, guiding projects from initial proposal through final invoicing while delivering outstanding service and value.Deliver client-centric solutions: consult with clients to understand goals, propose effective workflows, and proactively manage challenges. Build trust through responsiveness, insight, and consistency.Collaborate across teams: partner with internal departments, corporate legal teams, and law firms to align efforts, ensure quality, and meet case-specific objectives.Manage end-to-end discovery tasks: oversee technical workflows including data processing, user and case setup, and production execution to support client deadlines and goals.Contribute to team success: support unassigned or escalated projects when needed. Maintain thorough documentation of project activity, custom workflows, and client communications.Drive innovation and efficiency: identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical or procedural solutions that enhance service quality and delivery speed.Maintain financial accountability: track and bill consulting time accurately. Ensure fee structures and estimates are clear at the outset and aligned throughout an engagement.

What You Need to SucceedFive or more years in eDiscovery, litigation support, or legal consulting roles, with a strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle, the EDRM, and TAR/CAL workflows.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; JD, MBA, or advanced degree a plus.Proven experience managing complex projects and delivering client-facing services in deadline-driven environments.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to legal and non-technical audiences.Familiarity with the evolving role of artificial intelligence in eDiscovery.Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients.Experience with OpenText eDiscovery (formerly Axcelerate) is a strong plus.
Role Challenges and Special Working ConditionsRequirements may dictate the necessity to work hours outside of normal, 40-hour workweek.While not frequent, some travel throughout the US may be required.
