Description

Pacific NW Magazine, a weekly showcase of The Seattle Times’ storytelling and visual journalism, is looking for its new editor. In this role, you will lead a small team of staffers in the production of a print and digital product that depicts the vibrant culture and people of the Northwest and helps readers connect to the special place we call home. We’re looking for an ambitious, visionary editor who excels at both the big-picture planning and the story editing that go hand-in-hand in this role. Help us chart and drive our overall editorial strategy by identifying relevant subjects, stories and trends to cover, work with writers to make their copy glow, and collaborate with designers and photographers to produce story packages that sing both on the page and on a screen. Bonus points if you’re knowledgeable about Seattle’s culture and history.
