We serve local, national and international communities by producing useful information and tools to assist in the daily work to prevent and stop violence towards women and children and vulnerable adults.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • 2 year community college diploma in graphic design required

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience supporting content and graphic design required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Verbal communication skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience
  • Demonstrated ability take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments

Responsibilities

The Editorial Assistant will be responsible for providing graphic design and digital media assistance related to a variety of media channels to build and promote the Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children’s brand and reputation locally, nationally, and internationally. The role will work in collaboration to support the development and production of aesthetic digital media assets, including brochures, newsletters, and infographics for use in a variety of knowledge mobilization, under the direction of communications professionals. The Editorial Assistant will also facilitate digital media dissemination through various media channels.
