Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity to join the Gourmet Traveller team in an entry level role, working across all aspects of the brands, including print, digital, social media, events, and more. In this role you will be providing administrative assistance to the Gourmet Traveller editors and wider team, as well as developing editorial skills, including writing, fact-checking, merchandising and digital content production.
The position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including supporting the editorial team to create engaging omnichannel content; invoice processing and financial tracking; office management; and general administrative tasks. We’re seeking a proactive, mature individual who is confident in taking on new challenges and does so with enthusiasm. DUTIES

  • Reporting to the Gourmet Traveller Digital Editor, the Editorial Co-ordinator will support the omnichannel editorial team to ensure the smooth running of print and digital content production.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks for the Gourmet Traveller editorial leadership team, including processing invoices and payments, magazine mark-ups, credit card reconciliations, and responding to reader enquiries, as well as booking couriers and calling in product for shoots.
  • Organise team meetings and celebration, travel, events and assist with flagship initiatives like the Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards.
  • Assist with budget management and maintain files and production schedules.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with contributors, vendors, payroll and finance as necessary.
