Editorial Intern Department: Editorial Relevate Health | June 1 – July 24, 2026 Relevate Health is excited to launch our 2026 Summer Internship Program, an immersive, hands-on experience designed for students eager to gain real-world experience in healthcare marketing, data, technology, and business operations. This is an 8-week paid internship program beginning June 1, 2026, and interns must be available to participate for the full duration of the program. Program Highlights 8-week structured program (June 1 – July 24, 2026) Paid at $19 per hour Up to 25 hours per week Real project ownership and hands-on experience Exposure to senior leadership Professional development workshops and career coaching Collaborative, high-performance culture Requirements Currently enrolled undergraduate student (rising sophomore, junior, or senior preferred) Available for the full 8-week program Strong communication skills and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Currently, Relevate Health cannot sponsor employment-based visas. The Editorial intern will learn about what it means to be an editor for a pharmaceutical marketing organization, including copy editing scientific/medical material, AMA style vs brand style (and building style guides), fact-checking, and the editorial process. They will provide support to senior-level editors as a second set of eyes, while also providing those editors with the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience in a mentoring capacity. Key Responsibilities & Projects Support ongoing projects related to both Agency Solutions and Engagement Solutions with basic copyediting, proofreading, and fact checking tasks, while learning the typical review process Attend status and kickoff meetings for the brands they are supporting Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Project Management, and Medical teams About the Department The Editorial department ensures that the work Relevate produces for its clients is of high quality and is factually/medically accurate, while following brand style guidelines and ensuring consistency across the range of a brand’s assets. How the Intern Will Support the Team The Editorial intern will work closely with the Editorial Senior Director, as well as with both Editorial Supervisors, effectively shadowing them on select projects and providing copy editing support, as well as fact checking. Expected Outcomes by End of Internship Gain hands-on experience in medical/pharmaceutical editing and fact checking Develop foundational skills in AMA style and the rules pertaining to medical/pharmaceutical editing, as well as the typical editorial process within a pharmaceutical marketing agency Understand how the Editorial department functions within the organization and how it contributes to the organization’s success Preferred Academic Focus: English, Biology Preferred Skills or Experience Any type of editing experience (doesn’t have to be medical/pharma related) Microsoft Office, particularly PPT and Word Research skills Eligibility Requirements Current undergraduate or graduate student Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate
