We are seeking a dedicated Education Administration Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support within our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the compilation and updating of educational resources and materials, ensuring that all reporting and compliance requirements are consistently met. Operating under the general supervision of Manager, Education Support, the Education Administration Officer will execute tasks as directed while adhering to defined responsibilities. This role involves making decisions between established methods of work, planning, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines effectively. The officer will resolve routine issues independently and assist in addressing more complex matters, ensuring smooth operational flow within the work area. Please note - this role requires the successful candidate to work from the office at least 4 days a week. Limited hybrid working arrangements can be discussed with your manager if you are successful in this position. These roles are not open to current University of Sydney students. Your key responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive administrative support to academic and teaching staff, including policy interpretation and procedural assistance coordinate program evaluation processes, facilitating improvements for academic programs and implementing changes recommended by academic staff maintain databases and contact lists to enhance learning and teaching activities, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information is maintained coordinate the compilation and publication of academic content for both print and online platforms, adhering to copyright compliance assist in the development of materials for programs of study and manage educational reporting and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely updates on university systems. About you possess a Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field demonstrate strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office specifically MS Excel organisational and time management skills enable you to handle multiple tasks efficiently possess keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all administrative tasks ability to be flexible and meet deadlines for various tasks communicate effectively and excel in customer service, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
