Description

Overview:
The K-12 Education Analyst supports, promotes, and drives the College, Career, and Life Readiness (CCLR) and Naviance solutions within PowerSchool. This role involves advising on strategic and enterprise opportunities, providing guidance and leadership to customer groups, and helping them fully utilize PowerSchool’s CCLR/Naviance solutions. The strategist also contributes to future product development by consulting internally with product, sales, marketing, and enablement teams.
Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Education, Business, Finance, or related field, strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in K-12 Education, including extensive practical experience within the target market as a district leader for human resources, professional learning, or similar; additional experience in a K-12 Educational Services company preferred
  • Experience implementing district-wide college and career readiness initiatives.
  • Enthusiasm and excitement for K-12 education and ongoing professional learning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking ability and experience.
  • Ability to contextualize associated products within the market’s future and the broader vision of a more unified district experience.
  • Ability to work well with others, requiring significant collaboration across various organizational departments.
  • Ability to be independent and proactive within the direction of the Sales Team’s objectives.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in an environment that is sometimes ambiguous or difficult to define, as solutions across multiple divisions and product/service boundaries.

  • Communication: Deliver group presentations, written, verbal, and interpersonal communications effectively.
  • Sales Coaching: Coach the sales team to develop discovery techniques and product and technical skills necessary to meet and exceed established objectives.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate with Solution Engineers and Sales on customer calls requiring complex cross-departmental involvement, management, experience, and perspective.
  • Issue Resolution: Coordinate with other departments to resolve product or other issues that may jeopardize sales opportunities.
  • Product Proposals: As part of their respective product councils, propose products and technologies to create effective solutions for sales needs.
  • Event Participation: Work with customer groups and educators at user group conferences and other events, often serving as a keynote speaker or prominent speaker.
  • Business Development: Support business development initiatives by providing expertise in key customer meetings and communications, including executive engagement and onsite meetings.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
