We’re now recruiting for the 2025/2026 academic year and have flexible teaching opportunities across Ealing, London, supporting children and young people who need 1:1 provision outside of mainstream school.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified teachers, tutors, teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and education professionals with experience supporting children and young people.
  • Those with a background in Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16 teaching, or specialist SEND environments.
  • Professionals with experience or interest in working with students with autism, communication needs, and learning difficulties.
  • Individuals who are semi-retired, changing career path, or seeking a more flexible role in education.
  • A minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability.
  • Up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Bonus: Familiarity with Makaton, PECS, or other communication strategies along with de-escalation and behaviour management training is a plus.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM FRESH START IN EDUCATION

  • £25–£35 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 or 2:1 educational support to children and young people in their homes or specialist settings in Ealing, London.
  • Delivering personalised, creative teaching sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests, and abilities.
  • Sessions run during the school day (term time only) and typically last 3 to 5 hours.
  • Working flexibly as part of a compassionate, expert-led team that values you, your skills and creative input.
  • Engaging with students who may have autism, global developmental delay, or complex needs, helping them achieve outcomes at their pace.
