Reports to the Marketing Manager. Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including: specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, group reservations, buyouts, press events, tastings and private receptions Supervises staff members during events to ensure smooth execution Writes and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages online Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events Builds and manages client lists and relationships Performs other duties as required or assigned Ensures in store communication is up to standards and follows the brand guidelines. Utilizes tools and systems provided to produce in store signages where needed and necessary. (i.e. Events materials, Posters, Flyers for campaigns). Oversees in store installations. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not required) 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy Proficiency in Italian language preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays Compensation: This position pays a base rate of $22-$25 Per Hour Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave 401K with match or RRSP Bonus program Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
