Full time, continuing role Use your technical and creative skills to build engaging digital learning experiences Join a collaborative team driving education innovation in the Sydney Medical Program and Sydney Dental School Base Salary $103,185 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Medicine and Health, Education Innovation & Design team is seeking a motivated and organised Education Design Support Officer to join our collaborative and supportive team. In this role, you will support the Sydney Medical Program and Sydney Dental School, working closely with Education Designers to contribute to innovative teaching and learning initiatives. You will help transform course content into engaging and effective digital learning experiences for students while supporting the development and delivery of learning resources across the program. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career in education design or learning technology, offering hands on experience with digital learning tools, course development, and educational systems within a major university program. You will play an important role in developing high-quality online learning resources, supporting academic staff with education technologies, and assisting with the implementation of learning design projects in remote, hybrid, and blended learning environments. Your key responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, learning design support, and operational assistance to teaching staff within the Sydney Medical Program and Sydney Dental School collaborating closely with an Education Designer, academic staff, and cross-faculty teams to develop innovative teaching and assessment resources designing, developing, testing, and implementing educational resources for use in remote, hybrid, and blended learning environments supporting the use and administration of education systems, including the RISR Advanced workload management system troubleshooting and providing practical solutions across learning technologies such as Canvas, Echo360, Zoom, and SRES developing engaging rich-media and interactive learning resources in collaboration with academic and teaching staff assisting with project coordination and supporting the delivery of learning design initiatives across the program About you To succeed in this role, you will bring a combination of technical capability, curiosity, and strong collaboration skills. You will be comfortable working with new systems, solving technical problems, and supporting staff in the use of learning technologies. You will be able to: demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly apply your learning management system (LMS) design experience, with familiarity in basic HTML &/or coding concepts develop engaging digital learning resources, including video and rich-media content, and quickly learn new tools such as H5P, Articulate, and Adobe Creative Suite communicate clearly and effectively with academic and professional staff, both verbally and in writing manage competing priorities, organise your workload effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment bring experience working within a university or higher education environment, with knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and administrative processes demonstrate an interest in learning design, digital education, or educational technology Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
