ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will contribute to the monitoring, assessment and quality of educational, employment and training (EET) provision for Children in Care Children in Care and Care Experienced Young people aged 16-25 to promote a culture of high aspiration that allows young people to achieve their education, employment and training potential.
You will maintain oversight and develop tailored high-quality EET plans for young people, offer consultation to Social Workers, Personal Advisors and other professionals across the service. Ensuring statutory and best practice standards are met and leading on defined areas such as engagement, attendance, well-being or progress to support raising achievement and educational standards of vulnerable young people, making sure they are in EET and attaining well.
You will ensure you maintain effective, collaborative, and joint working relationships with a broad range of professionals working with vulnerable young people (including education colleagues, teachers and social care professionals, employers), to ensure obligations are being met and to drive high aspiration and positive outcomes for young people. This includes attending multi-agency meetings.
The successful candidate will support ongoing review and development of policies, procedures, processes and development plans. Additionally, keep up to date with external developments in practice to inform changes in policy and procedure and best practice.
