The Education Experience & Innovation Designer is a senior instructional designer responsible for the development of engaging, equitable, and inclusive learning experiences across multiple delivery formats (in-person, online, hybrid). The position leverages evidence-based instructional design principles and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to develop high-impact adult learning programs that support learner success and reflect institutional values.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new academic programs and learning experiences, ensuring alignment with UDL and adult learning principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including curriculum writers, educational technologists, media designers, SMEs, and faculty.
• Champion innovative instructional approaches that foster learner engagement, equity, and success.
• Apply rigorous instructional design methodologies to develop course materials, assessments, and activities.
• Conduct needs assessments and integrate feedback from stakeholders to inform design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility and quality assurance standards.

Education & Experience Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience designing adult learning experiences, preferably in a post-secondary or vocational education context.
