Qualifications

  • College diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Social Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with children and youth.
  • Experience working with Indigenous people, organizations, and communities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Anishinaabe culture, traditions, and the Seven Grandfather Teachings.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate, and facilitate programs and events.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or equivalent approaches is considered an asset.
  • Ability to speak and understand Anishinaabemowin is an asset.
