Join Global School Exchanges (GSE) this summer and play a key role in an unforgettable international education programme. We connect Chinese and UK schools through immersive exchange experiences that inspire young people to grow as global citizens.
Each programme brings students into UK schools for 1 week of full cultural and academic immersion. They live with local host families, join classes and engage in enrichment activities. As an Education Programme Manager, you’ll lead the experience on the ground – supporting students, liaising with schools and families, and ensuring every day runs smoothly.

As a Programme Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for your allocated student group – part event manager, part educator, part wellbeing champion. You’ll be:

• Manage daily activities: Oversee school integration, liaise with teachers, and guide students through each day.
• Leading learning sessions: Deliver engaging after-school lessons (up to 1.5 hours/day) on British culture, language, or creative topics.
• Supporting homestays: Act as a point of contact for host families, helping resolve questions and ensuring students’ comfort and safety.
• Championing student welfare: Prioritise safeguarding and support, making sure students feel happy, safe and confident throughout their stay.
