About the role Our partner is on a mission to nurture and support students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) career pathways through their exciting ten-year initiative. As an Education Project Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering the STEM Community Partnerships Program (STEM CPP), creating strong connections between local schools and industry. Your adventure will involve: Working with internal and external program teams to deliver engaging STEM-related activities Collaborating with relevant schools, industry, and organizations to expand the program's reach Connecting with schools, businesses, and local councils to build sustainable relationships and provide the support they need to thrive in the program Designing and leading face-to-face and virtual training workshops, including teacher professional development Organizing exciting activities such as site visits, careers events, and work experience opportunities that will greatly impact students Managing workload distribution and other priorities to ensure program outputs are timely To join our partner on this journey, you'll need: Education, STEM, project management, or equivalent relevant work experience Experience in facilitating teacher training with an extensive understanding of how to align it with the curriculum Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; to be able to build and maintain productive relationships and networking with a diverse range of stakeholders Exceptional project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and judgement, as well as the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks with the appropriate evidence-based solutions
