Description

Responsible for proactive identification of and planning for department, laboratory and work unit education and training needs in collaboration with leadership. Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of educational and training programs for medical trainees (residents, fellows, post docs, etc.), students, interns and allied health staff in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Participates as clinical education faculty in formal education programs within the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS) as assigned. Teaches, trains and mentors students and other education personnel/employees. Maintains knowledge and skills in laboratory/work area specialty and in education methodologies. **This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program**
