ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Faculty of Medicine and Health is looking for an Education Support Officer (Clinical) to support the provision of a broad range of educational support services to academic and teaching staff, in the management of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program.
This position requires you to be on site a minimum of 4 days a week . Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • coordinate and provide administrative support for clinical teaching including the recruitment, engagement and ongoing relationship management with paid and non-paid clinical tutors and supervisors, including timetabling and logistical management (including booking and preparation of teaching spaces) of the tutor base.
  • liaise with and build strong relationships with key staff and relevant stakeholders, including staff, academics, and clinicians from the LHD - Local health District
  • logistical support of clinical and knowledge-based assessments within the medical program
  • provide an exceptional student experience that fosters a positive learning environment, cultivates student success, and promotes a sense of inclusivity and belonging within the medical program and university.
