Are you enthusiastic, compassionate, and ready to make a difference in young people’s lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Education Support Officer to join our warm and welcoming team in the Specialist Provision Centre (SPC) at Castle Rushen High School. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with the SPC Manager and the team to help deliver a tailored curriculum for students who may have social/emotional, behavioural, physical, sensory and/or learning difficulties.
You’ll support students in mainstream lessons, helping them access the curriculum and stay engaged. Working one-to-one or in small groups, you’ll contribute to individual education plans, set up daily activities, and accompany students on trips that build confidence and life skills.
Our students are an integral part of Castle Rushen High School, joining their peers for lessons, assemblies, and school events. Some of our students also spend time in mainstream classes throughout the week, with staff working collaboratively to ensure these transitions are smooth, supportive, and successful.
