Looking for a rewarding role supporting students to thrive in a specialist setting?
Joining the Specialist Provision Centre (SPC) at Queen Elizabeth II High School as an Education Support Officer, you will work closely with our SPC Manager, Teachers, and team to plan and deliver aspects of the curriculum for pupils with social/emotional, behavioural, physical, sensory and/or learning difficulties. You will also assist with individual education plans, working with small groups or one-to-one with pupils, and taking pupils out on trips, helping them to learn vital life skills.
Our pupils are part of the wider school community and join their mainstream peers for some lessons, lunches, assemblies and other school events - our busy centre prides itself on being a friendly, close-knit environment that always welcomes new ideas to support a range of different needs.
If you’re passionate about helping young people succeed, we’d love to hear from you!
