SUMMARY
The Education Technology Director leads day-to-day edtech operations and instructional integration with a strong focus on AI-readiness, Clever rostering, Blackbaud, and Google Workspace/Classroom. The role also includes teaching STEAM classes & supporting the NCA Robotics Program, building a multi-year technology plan, and delivering targeted professional learning so teachers can confidently use technology to improve learning outcomes.
2) AI IN EDUCATION (RESPONSIBLE & EFFECTIVE USE)
· Lead the school’s AI vision and guardrails: create age-appropriate guidelines for generative AI, academic integrity, privacy, bias awareness, and teacher workflows
· Pilot AI tools that support feedback, differentiation, accessibility, and productivity; evaluate impact and equity
· Provide PD on AI pedagogy (prompting, rubric-aligned use, lesson redesign, formative assessment, and safeguards)
QUALIFICATIONS
· Born Again Christian walking faithfully with God, has a personal testimony, and lives a consecrated life devoted to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
· Regularly Attends a Christian Church
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or related field preferred
· Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional technology leadership or integration preferred
