The Education Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting staff and students in effectively utilising technology to enhance teaching and learning. This position collaborates closely with the Education Team, School Leadership, and the IT Department to ensure the successful integration and use of digital tools across the school. What you'll do: Work collaboratively with the Education Team, School Leadership and IT Department to support the effective use of technology in teaching and learning. Build and maintain strong relationships across the school to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. Act as a key point of contact for staff, students and parents on educational technology. Provide timely, effective support to staff and students using digital tools and platforms. Troubleshoot issues, resolve support requests in line with processes, and escalate when required. Empower users by building their confidence and basic troubleshooting skills. Develop clear training resources in a range of formats to suit different learning needs. Deliver training sessions to introduce new technologies and strengthen digital capability. Promote best practice in digital learning and classroom technology use. Share responsibility for administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other core teaching applications. Support classroom technology integration by ensuring systems are well configured and maintained. Provide guidance to maximise the impact of key educational technologies on student learning. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations. Collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality solutions. Manage competing priorities to meet deadlines and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital systems and processes. What you'll bring: An authentic passion for teaching and supporting others. Experience supporting education based clients with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical scenarios in a clear and understandable manner. Exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in using technology and creating training resources, such as user guides and video tutorials. Previous experience in a role involving teaching, education, technical support, and/or customer service that includes the use of technology. Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete tasks with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
