Description

BASIC FUNCTION: Serve as first point of contact for all Adult Education students. Help develop, implement, and evaluate Adult Education programs and activities. Maintain program data management and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to program operations and financial transactions.
  • Manage program data and maintain data integrity for state and federal reporting.
  • Maintain records and develop procedures in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Assist Director with the preparation of program reports, status updates, monitoring visits, and annual reports.
  • Assist Director in providing instructors with professional development and instructional materials.
  • Assist instructors with ESL and HSE orientations and assessments at various locations as needed.
  • Maintain class schedules.
  • Complete initial intake of new HSE/ESL students; conduct orientations as needed.
  • Monitor and calculate student attendance, assessment scores, and progress. Provide instructors with student progress reports and work with them to ensure maximum benchmark attainment.
  • Assist students with scheduling final HiSet tests.
  • Create part-time instructor MOUs, schedules, and approve hours.
  • Coordinate technology needs and supplies for outlying classes and instructors.
  • Serve as technology liaison for instructors. Research and provide instructors direction on web resources and other digital technology. Responsible for tracking inventory and keeping the technology up to date.
  • Purchase program supplies and academic materials.
  • Maintain database of program contacts, including instructors, partner program staff, and prospective and current students.
  • Represent the College and the Adult Education program at community and state meetings as appropriate, online and in person. Attend all state Data Specialist, Continuing Education Division related meetings, work groups and report back to staff.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills, demonstrate reliability, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Fulfill other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
    Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including opportunities for student recruitment.
