JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the general supervision of the area Lead Education Welfare Officer, provide Education Welfare cover within a designated district or districts, or such other areas as may be required from time to time.
Provide advice, support and guidance to children/young people, parents/carers and other partners in order to improve attendance at school or other education setting, address disaffection and promote inclusion.
