EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

Location: Central Middle School
30 hours weekly
Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found until October 15, 2025 with possibility of extension.
The successful applicant will provide support to students in middle school.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Educational Assistant Certificate, Social Work diploma or comparable education is an asset
• Experience or education in working with children with complex needs and behaviours preferred
• Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Toileting and lifting will be required.Ability to speak a second language (preferably Arabic) would be an asset.
