Position: Educational Assistant

CHEK ABC is a Christian Home Education and On-Line school with students across BC. Our central office is located in beautiful Nelson.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Education Assistant to join our Cranbrook Learning Center. This is an in-person position for 3 hours per week on Thursday afternoons, with additional on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications:

• Candidates need to have good interpersonal, communication and organization skills and work independently.
• The candidate needs to be able to be kind, firm and set reasonable boundaries and stick to them.
• Preferences given to candidates with computer skills (Brightspace or willing to learn), Special Education or Tutoring experience.
• Experience working with children shall be considered an asset.
• Must reside in Cranbrook, BC area or within a one-hour driving distance

College students, youth group leaders, Sunday School Teachers.
