We are now accepting applications for an Educational Assistant at Christ the King Academy a grades 5-8 school located in Brooks, Alberta. This is a full-time position, 30 hours per week on average.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, caring, and committed to students with an openness to learning. Flexibility, patience, responsiveness, cooperation, and strong communication skills will lead to success in this role. Experience supporting students with complex learning profiles or experience in ESL certification is an asset. Additionally, some of the duties in this assignment may include providing support to the physical demands of a student (self-care, dressing, toileting, medical needs, etc.) Nurse’s Aide or Health Care Aide certification would be considered an asset.
